Blade Dancer Lance - My Style

My god i felt good doing this stuff again. nothing but blue pen and a picture to use as a reference. This is my first attempt at ANIME! not to mention anime with my style. My style is basically use alot of straight lines and thick lines which i developed in my art classes during highschool after i started doing graphic design classes in year 10. the "technique" or whatever i use is just blue pen, no pencil, no rubber, no white out, and if i make a mistake it stays there.

I also, like in this case, tend to start my drawing from the toes up (hense it went off the page cos i started too close to the middle oh well next time), which my old art teacher said hardly anyone could do without fucking up the scale of the body. but i think it looks pretty good here. just the left arm muscle is a bit long compared to the original image i was looking at. oh well like i said mistakes stay as they are.

this took about 2 hours (A4) including the time i took to chat to a friend on msn. and it is worth mentioning i haven't done drawings like this for nearly a year and a half so it's good to see i haven't gotten rusty. comments are welcome.
